Caught The Fire Bug on Instagram: "Current view as of 1pm on the Mark’s Creek fire east of Pineville, Oregon. The fire was reported on September 2nd approximately 15 acres. The fire is burning in old growth but eventually will hit timber reproduction area. Multiple aircraft worked the fire yesterday with more than a dozen ground crews on scene, by later in the night, the fire was estimated at 1200 acres, as of this morning, September 3rd the fire is now mapped at 2,000+ acres.
