My Tips for Pool vs Open water Swimming 🏊‍♂️ If you have a good technique in the pool, don’t change it in open water learn how to use it in rough conditions with waves etc. For example if a wave is going over the top of me in the ocean I will hold my glide longer until it passes over the top. Or if a wave is hitting me from the right side I will switch and breathe from the left. I won’t lift my head higher or increase cadence as I will likely slow down and get tired faster!!!
