👣 Cardiff’s city centre wardens are a familiar and reassuring presence for everyone visiting the heart of our city. On a typical day, they walk 17,000–18,000 steps—and up to 30,000 on busy event days—helping to keep the city centre clean, safe, and welcoming for all. Thanks to support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the warden team has been expanded and given extra training to handle a wide range of situations.
