I’d really like to see the curriculum for this new program because, honestly, it doesn’t make sense for an RN to spend two full years in a lecture hall just to become a blood transfusion nurse and not even a specialist! In most jurisdictions, RNs receive transfusion training as part of their orientation or through continuing education modules that focus on patient identification, product verification, transfusion procedures, and managing reactions. These are typically short, targeted courses and
