Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail began operations in 2003 with a line between downtown Seattle and Tukwila International Boulevard. Over the last two decades, the system has expanded in all directions, with trains now going as far north as Lynwood and by December, as far south as Federal Way. Link is also in the process of extending to the east along I-90 to Bellevue and Renton. A small portion of this route opened in 2024 with a full opening of the line, known as the 2 Line, planned for early 20
