Working with creates a LOT of small pieces! At the end of a session I use them up in a small sketchbook. Love how this matte medium/methyl cellulose mix is enabling repositioning! I give myself parameters; max five pieces, limited palette, range of values and sizes etc, other than that it's all about selection and placement. Collage has always been a big part of my practice either as final outcomes, or as studies like these that keep my composition skills fluid and often inform later work. #urba
