The Manly Ferry 'Queenscliff' has taken its last voyage on Sydney Harbour today before it's replaced by a fleet of Emerald-class vessels. There are calls for the iconic ship to be saved ahead of a busy summer. The first of the three new Manly ferries began servicing the Circular Quay to Manly route today. The two remaining Freshwater Ferries, MV Freshwater and MV Collaroy, will continue to operate alongside the new Generation 2 Emerald Class ferries on weekends and public holidays. Transport Minister Rob Stokes says retirement plans for the MV Narrabeen are still being finalised.
