Shortfin mako shark possession is just a signature away from being prohibited here in the United States. The mako is one of our key studies, and the logo of the Atlantic Shark Institute. The execution of the paperwork prohibiting their retention could take place any day now and we and our partners have been hard at work on a critical shortfin mako shark study.
