Gas leak causes closure, evacuation on S. Maumee St. In the early afternoon on Monday, Sept. 22, the City of Tecumseh announced a road closure due to a gas leak on South Maumee Street between Chicago Boulevard and Kilbuck Street. Utility crews responded to the situation to conduct necessary repairs and the Tecumseh Fire Department was on scene securing the area.
