We are a listener-supported public radio station, located in Lafayette, Louisiana. We broadcast live annually from area music festivals, and produce and air live broadcasts of music series throughout Acadiana. We play Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, Jazz, Swamp Pop, Swamp Rock, Louisiana singer/songwriter music, and many other distinct musical styles created and played in Louisiana.

KRVS earns international grant to support ‘Bonjour Louisiane’

KRVS 88.7 FM, the public radio station licensed to UL Lafayette, has received a $15,000 international grant to support the production of its French-language morning program “Bonjour Louisiane.”. The funds come from Représentation de l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, or OIF.
