The UCF College of Medicine aspires to become the nation’s premier 21st century medical school, as well as a national leader in medical education, research, patient care and service. UCF’s M.D. Program allows students to prepare for careers in every discipline of medicine and to focus on an individualized area of study or research.

Applicants must be Florida residents currently enrolled as seniors or graduates of an appropriately accredited university or college in the United States. Students must receive a baccalaureate degree before August of the year they intend to enter medical school.

The M.D. program learning experience at the University of Central Florida is a unique and exciting blend of state-of-the-art technology, interactions with simulated patients, clinical and laboratory experiences, research, facilitator-directed small group sessions, and interactive didactic lectures.

UCF College of Medicine tuition and fee rates are reset annually and cover courses taken during the academic year. The structure and length of the academic year changes with each class level. Although the academic term is the full academic year, tuition is billed semi-annually.

The College of Medicine offers several dual degree programs that lead to two different degree citations on the transcript and two separate diplomas. These may combine master’s programs, doctoral programs, and professional degree programs.
