May 5, 2022 · I have a 2012 Hyundai Accent 75,000 miles. Noticed what seemed like reduced engine performance lately (slower acceleration, weird shifting and mpg) and check engine light came on. Scanned the code as P0456 very small evaporator emissions leak.

Oct 12, 2022 · On the Hyundai I10, 1.2 engine, when the ignition is turned on the PCM supplies a constant 12volts to the OCV. The Valve does not operate yet until the PCM also supplies a path to ground. It is this path to ground, also known as "ground side switched" that is pulsed on and off hundreds of times per second to operate the OCV.

Sep 6, 2023 · I bought this 2016 Hyundai Accent Sport 113k miles from a private seller for a pretty dang good deal. The catch was that it had the code P0420 which means the catalyst system is below the efficiency threshold for bank 1. The stealership diagnosed the problem as a clogged/bad catalytic converter that needed to be replaced.

Mar 6, 2022 · The official Hyundai color for this application is green, but the only requirement is that it is a P-OAT (some call it P-HOAT) coolant. The color actually does not matter as it is just used to help identify the coolant for the next mechanic who works on it.

Feb 14, 2015 · 2011 Hyundai Accent Issue - stall at stops and red lights when the car is at idle. We would have to wait for a couple of mins for the car to cool down to restart. Fix - We just replaced the crankshaft sensor and the engine knock went away after a min or so at idle. It also gained instant power at acceleration and no more sputtering.
