West Ham United have recruited ex-Newcastle United and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson as a free agent on a one-year contract, the east London club announced on Saturday.

West Ham are set to sign Callum Wilson on a free transfer. The 33-year-old, who has already completed a medical, has agreed a one-year contract with a heavily incentive-based salary. The striker will join the squad upon their return from their pre-season tour of the United States, where they are contesting the Premier League Summer Series.

West Ham have agreed to sign former Newcastle and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson on a 12-month contract. BBC Sport disclosed on 24 July that the Hammers were in talks with Wilson over joining as a free agent, after being released by Newcastle at the end of last season.
