Workers at University of California campuses in the Bay Area joined thousands of employees statewide Tuesday in a one-day strike, claiming unfair labor practices.

Thousands of University of California workers protested outside campuses and UC medical centers across the state Tuesday, April 1, over what they say is “illegal bad faith bargaining,” a news release says.

For the third time in about four months, University of California health care and other workers walked off the job Tuesday.
