Walmart's majority-owned fintech company OnePay has teamed up with Synchrony Financial to issue the retail giant's credit card, the consumer financial services company said on Monday, marking a return of a collaboration that ended in 2018.

Walmart-backed fintech OnePay chose Synchrony to issue the retailer’s credit cards. The company had handled Walmart’s credit-cards for nearly two decades until 2018.

Walmart Inc.’s credit cards will once again be issued by Synchrony Financial as the world’s largest retailer makes a renewed push into financial services.
