The second annual “Paws at the Park” will take place at Curwensville Lake on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

An Altoona man who assaulted employees at Arby’s in Lawrence Township was sentenced to prison by President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman on Monday at Colloquy Court.

Bradley Scott Powell, 58, of Sharpsville, will stand trial on charges related inappropriate contact with a Clearfield teen.
