Wings head coach Chris Koclanes explained the controversial Paige Bueckers injury situation before Saturday's game.

Paige Bueckers returned to a familiar place to get the first win of her WNBA career. The No. 1 pick in the draft by the Dallas Wings had lost the first four games as a pro and couldn't remember a longer losing streak in her storied basketball career.

It would be extremely fitting if Bueckers can win her first WNBA game back in Connecticut, where she became a huge basketball star with UConn. Bueckers has already had a homecoming in her home state of Minnesota when the Wings faced the Lynx last week. Now, she will have her reunion at her second home in Connecticut this week.
