The Wildcats shot a blistering 12-of-24 from three-point range in both of those earlier meetings, coming away with a 78-73 win on Jan. 28 and a 75-64 victory on Feb. 11 to hand the Volunteers two of their seven losses.

Milos Uzan led all scorers with 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting, none bigger than his last-second layup to win the game. He added six assists and three rebounds and was 6-of-9 from three-point range. Emmanuel Sharp added 17 for Houston.

After two exciting weekends of NCAA Tournament action, the 2025 Final Four field is set. The bracket started with 68 teams earlier this month, and the field has since shrunk to a mere quartet ahead of what should be a historic Final Four next weekend.

South Carolina advanced to its fifth consecutive Final Four with a victory over Duke on Sunday, but it wasn't easy for the defending national champions in a 54-50 win. The Blue Devils dominated the third quarter and took a 38-32 lead with 2:27 remaining in the frame before the Gamecocks composed themselves and took control.

Madness slate continues on Saturday with the final women's Sweet 16 games. Plenty of stars will be in action, from No. 2 UConn's Paige Bueckers, No. 2 TCU's Hailey Van Lith and No. 3 Notre Dame's Hannah Hidalgo.
