President Trump seized on the stabbing death of Rob Reiner and his wife to lash out at the Hollywood director, suggesting that Mr. Reiner’s criticism of Mr. Trump may have led to his murder.

Reiner was a harsh critic of Trump and had called him “mentally unfit” to be president and the “single most unqualified human being to ever assume the presidency of the United States.”
