Protesters gathered outside the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building, located along Alameda Street between Temple and Aliso Streets.

Hundreds of protesters skipped the barbecues and spent Fourth of July rallying in downtown L.A. against immigration raids that have roiled the region over the last month.

On the Forth of July, a large group marched across downtown LA in opposition of ICE and federal immigration enforcement.
