Chicago Cubs fans have just over a week to wait before their new star right fielder plays his first regular season game. Kyle Tucker and the Cubs will hop on a plane on March 11 and travel to Japan to play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the season opener on March 18 at the Tokyo Dome.

The Cubs brought right fielder Kyle Tucker over in a deal with the Astros and the eight-year veteran is enjoying his time in Chicago.

After heading down the dugout steps on Sunday afternoon, Kyle Tucker was greeted by silence. His teammates sat on the bench or leaned on the railing, eyes fixed on the field as the star outfielder worked on removing his batting gloves.
