The private country music legend celebrated the life of her late husband Carl Dean during a sneak peek of Dollywood's 40th anniversary in Tennessee.

Dolly Parton's surprisingly humble former home in Nashville has finally sold, after many years on and off the market. Parton and her husband, Carl Dean, purchased the 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in 1980, and they owned it until 1996. It's been on and off the market for 12 years, finally selling for $849,000 in December of 2021.

Dolly Parton has paid tribute to her husband Carl Dean in her first public appearance since his death. The 79-year-old country music singer’s husband died aged 82 on March 3. She paid tribute to him during a surprise concert at the preview for Dollywood season passholders ahead of opening for its 40th season in Tennessee.
