The Troy Police Department said in a message posted on social media that the shooting occurred at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital and the suspect was not in custody.

One person was injured in a shooting at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital Thursday, the shooter is in custody.

Police said the victim was shot twice in the arm and was in stable condition. It appears to be “a targeted incident” between the two men.
