History was alive on the hardwood at center court Saturday as the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever faced off in the first-ever WNBA game held at the United Center.

The Indiana Fever are coming off a win against the Washington Mystics on June 3. Today, the Fever face off for the second time this season with the Chicago Sky. Indiana will be without Caitlin Clark for at least one more game.

The first WNBA game at the United Center got off to an unfortunate start when Chicago Sky point guard and franchise icon Courtney Vandersloot went down with a knee injury just minutes into the team's matchup with the Indiana Fever.
