Troy football earned some major hardware from the Northern Tier League (NTL) Tuesday. Trojans standout running back Brendan Gilliland was named NTL MVP, while fellow senior quarterback Mason Smith earns Offensive Player of The Year.

Recent health inspections in some Troy restaurants revealed potentially hazardous ingredients, cockroaches and more between September and December of this year, according to Oakland County Health Department inspection reports.
