Going into Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was just 30 yards away from breaking Terrell Davis' record for the most rushing yards in a single season (playoffs included).

Saquon Barkley had an MVP-caliber year for the Eagles, and has several NFL rushing records in his sights in his first-ever Super Bowl appearance.

Davis dominated the regular season in both 1997 and 1998, but he was even more efficient during each playoff run. The Hall of Famer rushed for 581 yards and eight touchdowns over four playoff games in 1997 before rumbling his way to 468 yards and three touchdowns on six yards per carry in 1998.

Davis had 100-plus yards in all three postseason games, too, and was the best player on the Super Bowl XXXIII championship team. His running back records from 1998 still stand to this day, but Barkley is close to setting the standard for a player at his position.
