Frank Reich, who lasted only 11 games as the Carolina Panthers’ head coach, has a new opportunity as Stanford’s interim head coach. But no matter how he does under Stanford general manager Andrew Luck,
Stanford has hired former NFL head coach Frank Reich as the interim football coach following the firing of Troy Taylor, a person familiar with the move told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the hiring hadn't been announced.
Reich was announced Monday as the one-year solution after the firing of Troy Taylor, who was dismissed by Luck last week in the midst of ESPN reporting that he had bullied and belittled female staffers during back to back 3-9 seasons after replacing David Shaw.
