The Seattle Mariners agreed to a five-year deal with Josh Naylor, according to multiple reports on Sunday. The team acquired Naylor before the MLB trade deadline.
The Seattle Mariners bolstered their bullpen thanks to the addition of a Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher who was viewed as expendable.
Naylor has spent the last four seasons as a 2-3 win first baseman. The Guardians traded him to Arizona last offseason for Slade Cecconi, and he was then shipped to Seattle at the deadline for Brandyn Garcia and Ashton Izzi.
