Not everyone has loved the moves the Dallas Cowboys have made during NFL free agency. They've made more moves than they did a year ago, but overall, they haven't added much firepower. Instead, they've looked to fill holes with moderate signings, leading to an unflattering grade for their work.

Almost every team in the NFL entered free agency in 2025 with ample amounts of cap space following the salary cap boom to $279.2 million per team. However, not every team was able to pull off big moves with the additional resources.

The New Orleans Saints have brought back receiver Brandin Cooks, their 2014 first-round draft choice, on a two-year, free-agent contract. Cooks, whose return to New Orleans was announced by Saints general manager Mickey Loomis on Friday,

Brandin Cooks is heading back to the franchise that drafted him, as the six-time 1,000-yard receiver has returned to the New Orleans Saints, the team announced. Per ESPN, Cooks will sign a two-year, $13 million deal with the Saints as he returns to New Orleans for the first time since being traded from the Saints to the New England Patriots after the 2016 season.
