A man was arrested Thursday at Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport after “sarcastically” saying he had a bomb in his bag.

Jarrett Tucker, 31, of Fairfield, was arrested after making comments about a bomb and the recent plane crashes in the United States, according to New Haven Police.

Flights at Tweed New Haven Airport were delayed on Thursday for what was initially described as a “security incident.” New Haven police said that someone who boarded a plane made comments about a bomb.
