It’s official, the James Bond franchise has found its producers in Amy Pascal and David Heyman. The duo have been tapped by Amazon MGM to steer the new Bond film, the first to be produced by someone outside the Broccoli family.

With creative control over 007, Amazon MGM Studios is in talks to hire the producers behind Spider-Man and Harry Potter to develop the next James Bond movie.

Hollywood history. Amazon MGM today announced via press release that they have signed Amy Pascal — best known for overseeing the Spider-Man franchise for Sony — and David Heyman — who produced the Harry Potter movies for Warner Bros — to produce the first James Bond film from the studio.
