Roman Anthony signed a $130 million extension to secure his future with the Red Sox. That could pave the way for Jarren Duran to head out of Boston.

His efforts have gone far from unnoticed, and on Wednesday, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported that the Red Sox signed him to an eight-year, $130 million extension that will run through the 2034 season.

Jarren Duran is expected to remain with the Boston Red Sox through Thursday's MLB trade deadline. Boston is no longer entertaining a trade for the speedy outfielder, according to a report by WEEI's Rob Bradford on Monday.
