All 10 victims of a regional airline flight that crashed off the coast of western Alaska have been recovered, authorities said Saturday.

Crews are still working to recover the bodies of 10 people killed in a plane crash in Alaska, officials have said. Jennifer Homendy, chair of the National Transportation Safety Board, said the investigation into the crash was in its "early stages" and it was too soon to tell what caused it.

The Cessna Caravan left Unalakleet at 2:37 p.m., and officials lost contact with it less than an hour later, according to David Olson, director of operations for Bering Air. The aircraft was 12 miles (19 kilometers) offshore, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
