After a rough week, Denny Hamlin could breathe a sigh of relief for finishing seventh in the NASCAR Cup Series playoff opener at Darlington.

Denny Hamlin heads into the playoffs at one of his strongest tracks, Darlington, where he owns an average finish of 7.9 with five wins in 26 starts, including a victory this spring.

Much like the 1984 hit song “Sunglasses at Night” by Canadian singer Corey Hart, Denny Hamlin will have his sunglasses on to start Sunday’s Cook-Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
