Adel Ramos, the suspect who admitted to killing Sacramento police officer Tara O'Sullivan, was handed a death penalty verdict by a jury on Thursday.

Adel Ramos, who admitted to the bloody ambush killing of Sacramento police rookie Tara O’Sullivan in 2019, was sentenced to death on Thursday by a Sacramento Superior Court jury.

Adel Ramos killed Officer Tara O’Sullivan in June 2019 while she responded to a domestic violence call in north Sacramento, a jury previously found.
