The years of Stefon Diggs being one of the most prolific receivers in the NFL have probably passed. But the 31-year-old believes he still has plenty to offer as he prepares to embark on his latest stop with the New England Patriots.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs officially signed his three-year, $69 million deal with the New England Patriots on Friday afternoon. The 31-year-old is set to boost quarterback Drake Maye's pass-catching arsenal upon recovering from the torn ACL he suffered last season and according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he's on track to return for Week 1.
Due to his size, arm strength, and athleticism, Maye has drawn comparisons to the Bills quarterback. Diggs’ introduction to Maye came last season in Week 6 when the then-rookie quarterback made his NFL debut against the Houston Texans.
New Patriots WR Stefon Diggs is looking forward to maintaining his career-long production because of the potential of second-year QB Drake Maye.
