The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency says there is a possibility of both radiological and chemical contamination within Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz.

The IAEA has updated its assessment of Israeli airstrikes on Iran's Natanz facility, confirming that the strikes had direct impacts on the underground centrifuge halls.

Centrifuges at Iran's underground uranium enrichment plant at Natanz were likely to have been "severely damaged if not destroyed altogether" following Israeli strikes on Friday, the head of the global nuclear watchdog has told the BBC.
