Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey was back at practice for the team on Friday in what was a much-needed bit of positive injury news for the Chargers.

As NFL training camp continues, two notable Chargers players were absent from practice on Saturday, but their injuries are 'minor.'

McConkey along with the rest of Los Angeles' starters are not expected to play in the Chargers' preseason opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, July 31. McConkey has been "working through something minor" according to Chargers' head coach Jim Harbaugh. The second-year pass catcher missed practice on Tuesday ahead of the Hall of Fame Game.
