Kayaker Adrián Simancas is speaking out after he was briefly stuck inside the mouth of a whale that attempted to swallow him off the coast of Chile.

Adrián Simancas , a 24-year-old kayaker in Chile, detailed what it was like to be in the mouth of a humpback whale as his father captured the jarring encounter on video on Feb. 8.

The kayaker, Adrian Simancas, was out on the water with his father off the town of Punta Arenas when the whale surfaced and scooped him in his mouth for a few seconds before releasing him.
