Jason Richardson received a text from Tom Izzo on Saturday morning. The Michigan State coach welcomed his former All-American back to campus to be honored as part of 2000 team that won a national championship.

On a day the Michigan State men’s basketball team was honoring their 2000 National Championship team, the Spartans had plenty to celebrate. MSU took down Oregon, 86-74, at the Breslin Center on Saturday and Tom Izzo tied former Indiana coach Bob Knight for the most wins in Big Ten history.
