Iran has two known underground nuclear enrichment sites, the one Israel attacked on the first day of its assault at Natanz, and another at Fordo. Both sit south of Tehran in central Iran, but Fordo has long been the Iranian nuclear facility of most concern to international monitors and experts.

The conflict between Israel and Iran, which began with last Friday's surprise Israeli attack on Iran, has wreaked considerable damage in both countries and caused casualties on both sides.

Israel has also conducted extensive aerial bombardments against Iranian missile launchers, silos and support units.

Separately, a U.S. official said Trump would not sign a draft statement calling for de-escalation of the Israel-Iran conflict. Meanwhile, Israel is determined to continue its assault on Iran despite reports saying Iran wants to reopen nuclear talks.
