Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland fully expected top outside shooter Chance McMillian to be available for the Red Raiders’ Sweet 16 game against Arkansas.

Chance McMillian (strained oblique) has been ruled out for his fourth game in a row, according to a Tech release. The Red Raiders were able to win their first two March Madness games without him and will have to do so again against the Razorbacks.

McMillian, who averages 14.2 points per game and is one of Texas Tech’s key offensive threats, is dealing with an upper body injury.
