Brave New World is the fourth entry in that long-running Marvel franchise, as well as being the first to star Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson in the lead role rather than Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. But as much as this new movie is devoted to continuing the story of Captain America in the MCU,

I don’t want to say anything too obvious here, but the further we get into the MCU, the more stuff happens. And the closer we get to the end of a phase some Marvel projects find themselves in the uncomfortable position of having to tie up a ton of loose threads in service of a broader plot.
