Strong winds on Sunday continued to push the Sheep Fire through dry brush, causing fire officials to issue an evacuation order for Wrightwood.

The 48,000-acre Bridge fire, which remains uncontained, has become the largest and highest-priority fire in California, officials said.

Residents in Wrightwood are being asked not to use the tap water due to possible harmful contaminants brought on by the Bridge Fire.

The Bridge fire exploded in size Tuesday from approximately 3,000 acres to over 34,000 acres including burning structures in the Wrightwood area.
