Teams are punching their tickets to play for state championships in the Kansas high school basketball playoffs on Friday. Below is an updated list of semifinal scores with schedules for playoff games played around the state basketball tournaments.

The No. 4-seeded Cougars, defending state champions, beat No. 5 seed Mill Valley at Koch Arena. The Jaguars won the regular-season matchup on a buzzer-beater, but not this time. Junior Ethan Taylor, who was injured in the teams’ prior meeting, made his presence known with eight first-quarter points and finished with 20 overall.

Baylor defeated Kansas State 70-56 in the second round of the Big 12 Championship. Baylor senior guard Jayden Nunn led the Bears with 18 points, including 12 in the first half. Nunn's hot shooting helped Baylor build a 41-24 halftime lead.
