Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that the Kremlin is paying close attention to statements made by US President Donald Trump, who previously expressed his disappointment with the results of his conversation with Vladimir Putin.

The Kremlin said on Friday that Russia closely follows all of Donald Trump's statements after the U.S. president said he was "very disappointed" with his latest conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine.

Trump said that it does not appear that Putin is looking to stop Russia's war against Ukraine. After speaking to Putin on Thursday, Trump plans to speak to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Friday,
