AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44) – Governor Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to continue 24-hour operations at the Texas State Emergency Operations Center (SOC) at Level II (Escalated Response) to support the state’s ongoing response to severe storms and flash flooding.

Scattered storms, flood risk and below-average temperatures continue in North Texas through midweek
North Texas stays cooler than normal for a few more days, but don't let the lower temperatures fool you. Scattered storms could bring heavy downpours and localized flooding through midweek before a weekend warm-up sends highs back into the upper 90s and near 100 degrees.
