Several ski areas have already opened in Colorado for the 2022-23 winter season. The first ski area to open was Arapahoe Basin on Oct. 23.

One of the newer ways to check out conditions are live cams from the ski area. In the last five years, more live cams have been posted on ski resort web sites.

Pigeon Creek Park is located in West Olive, and is known as a popular spot in the winter with its groomed sledding hill and cross-country ski tracks.

Last week Loveland Ski Area announced on its Twitter page that it was now broadcasting live video streams from its new web cam atop Loveland’s Lift 9.
