ReserveAmerica began working with Cisco Systems three years ago to install a redundant online reservation service, one that now handles more than half of the reservations the company gets each year.
The parks’ campground bookings have also soared, from 95,000 in 2019 to 110,000. The parks charges between $20 and $40 per night to camp and ReserveAmerica collects an $8 fee per reservation.
ReserveAmerica today announced a partnership with Trails.com, the Web’s mostcomplete planning resource for self-guided outdoor and adventure travelactivities.
Christina Cordova, public relations coordinator for the State Parks Division, said camping, which opened Saturday, is by reservation only. Camping spots can be reserved at reserveamerica.com.
ReserveAmerica is a government contractor based in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., The company says it is the largest provider of campsite reservations in North America.
But this is how it's been this winter. On Dec. 1, when Memorial Day Weekend reservations became available, ReserveAmerica.com processed 8,756 reservations for 32,300 nights of camping.
