With some campgrounds selling out within minutes, a new lottery system aims to give more campers a chance at bookings.

Off-road riding and camping is allowed at the Oceano Dunes and Pismo State Beach Friday after closing down for almost a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The North Beach Campground in Pismo Beach is closed following our recent storm. The gates are locked and all reservations for the month of February are canceled, according to State Parks.

Camping is also allowed on the beach or amid the dunes south of Post 2. Oceano Dunes are located off Highway 1, just a few miles south of Pismo Beach.
